Don’t let these annoying pests get the best of you — get rid of them with TERRO® ready-to-use, fast-acting Fruit Fly Trap.
How Do They Work?
All stages of a fruit fly infestation depend on moist organic debris to complete the fruit fly life cycle. The non-toxic acetic acid found in the TERRO® Fruit Fly Trap lures the flies to the traps and eliminates the infestation. Within a few days of placing the trap near a breeding source, you should see a significant decrease in the number of fruit flies.
Simple as 1-2-3
You won’t find an easier trap to use. Activate the TERRO® Fruit Fly Trap by pulling the leaf-like lid off the base of the trap and exposing the vapor chamber. Empty the liquid lure into the trap, keeping the lid open while trap is in use. Place the trap in an area where flies have been seen and where it won’t be disturbed or tipped over. You won't find an easier trap to use.
Fruit Fly Breeding Areas
The key to successful elimination of fruit flies is to locate their breeding source and place a TERRO® Fruit Fly Trap nearby. Fruit flies are commonly spotted swarming around kitchen fruit bowls and near garbage storage areas. Place traps behind or under kitchen counters, sinks, dishwashers, near unrefrigerated fruits and vegetables, and any other location where fruit is stored.

Recently I had a serious problem with fruit flies in my office at work. We just could not figure out where they were coming from. We didn't have any food or flowers so it just mystified us. A friend of mine told me to put out a mason jar with apple cider vineager covered with wax paper and holes poked in the top and while we did catch a couple of the pests we still had a serious problem until I received the Terro 2500 trap. Within a week of setting the trap out there hasn't been a fruit fly to be seen anywhere. I recommend this for anyone with a similar problem.

I was tired of losing the battle of bugs in my office, so I tried this. AMAZING! No mess, no clean-up, no smell no worries. The fruit flies seem to be drawn to this, as I could hardly put it down before they were swarming to it. It is grossly impressive.

Product worked exactly as described. We seemed to have a rapid invasion of fruit flies in our home and it was BEYOND frustrating! Within about 4 days, there were hundreds of them flying in our kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas. We didn't have any fruit laying about, so we were pulling our hair out trying to figure out what exactly they were after. It was made worse by the fact that they were the aggressive type - they'd flock all over our food while we were trying to eat, even try to fly in our mouths!! So, after trying every possible remedy, we finally found this little miracle at our local Trader Joe's.
Setup was very easy and clean. The "bait" liquid smelled of rotten fruit, which immediately attracted several of them before I could even pour it into the trap! As many other people have reported, dozens of them flew and landed on the trap right away, but not a single one took the bait. It was very discouraging, but after reading the reviews from other people, we knew it wouldn't be long. Sure enough, by the next morning, there were dozens lying dead inside the trap! And by the end of the week, not a single fruit fly left in sight.
We are very pleased with this fruit fly trap, and it's inconspicuous, which is very convenient. So far, we're completely rid of our fruit fly problem and will not hesitate to use this product again in the future. Highly recommended!!

Quite simply, it really works. It can take a few days, but fruit flies are attracted to the opening and are trapped and drown in the liquid within. The trap is small and unobtrusive. I like it. You will need to replace the trap after the liquid evaporates, within a few weeks.

As a bartender we are at constant war with fruit flies. I've tried many products, as well as some failed home concoctions. This trap has worked the best. When the trap is down it attracts every fruit fly within a 4 four radius, even next to fruity alcohols! I've had one for a couple weeks and it still attracts flies. It's small and doesn't leave any noticeable odor. definitely best product I've found so far.

I bought a few different fruit fly traps all at once to test them all out. Although all of the traps worked effectively, this one was the best.....why? Because it LOOKS pretty! Some of the other traps looked like traps, one of them was even see-through so you could see the dead bugs floating (not too nice to have in the kitchen around your food!) This one is tiny, pretty, and effective. I have only had it for about two weeks so I don't know how long it will remain effective, but for the price it is worth it!

Have used this for a couple of weeks and there are many victims floating in the solution. I am ordering more right now. It's small, cute and easy to use.
