The vintage look of this Perky-Pet® Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder will not only attract hummingbirds near and far, but it will also add a touch of rustic appeal to your yard! The blue color of the bottle is reminiscent of vintage blue glass canning jars used in the 1800's. With its 32 ounce capacity, this large capacity feeder will keep your hummingbirds coming back time and time again.
The metal base and 5 flower feeding ports are easy to clean. Simply unscrew the bottle from the base, and clean in warm soapy water, and you’re good to go!
This is a beautiful hummingbird feeder. We do not have any hummingbirds that come to our house as of yet. Hopefully this will attract them. You can easily unscrew the base to fill the jar with sweet water (many recipes are on the net). Also, this makes it easy to wash as well. It is a wonderful piece of garden decor...so lovely! I think we will enjoy this very much!

I almost didn't order this because so many people gave it bad reviews. I really like the style and functionality of this feeder. When the jar is off the base the flower top part is separate from the reservoir. This makes cleaning so much easier. I don't see how this feeder could accumulate rain run off and dilute the fluid like someone described. As far as another's statement how the hummingbirds weren't able to drink from the "flower buds" I just did what I do with any other type of hummingbird feeder I've had. Once I turn the feeder over for use I just gently tip the feeder side to side to fill the reservoir with fluid and make sure the fluid volume is near to coming out of the "buds". Every feeder I've ever had usually releases more air bubbles into the chamber so that the reservoir fills up fully. I like the glass container that I could put in the dish machine for cleaning. The weight of this is obviously quite a bit more than an all plastic one so make sure you have a sturdy branch to hang it on. I also have a chain to hang it rather than string or a wire tie to make sure it stays put. Despite the blue glass color, my feeding solution still appears red in the jar. If I find some negatives while using this I will make an addendum post.

Perky-Pet Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder I've got lots of Hummingbird Feeders, but not one like this! *into My Shopping Cart it goes* :) * An aesthetically pleasing focal point, the blue/green colored antique Mason Jar style glass nectar container -- with embossed bird detail -- really sparkles in the sunlight -- goes with most any outdoor decor, or natural setting. The glass is thick and easy to keep clean. I use a simple bottle brush to clean the inside. It's easier to clean than the plastic humming bird feeders I've been using. * 32-Ounce nectar capacity -- that's 4 whole (8 ounce) cups of nectar. Just turn empty feeder upside down, unscrew bottom, fill with nectar, screw bottom back on, flip right side up, hang. That's it! :) * Filled with nectar, the Perky-Pet Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder is not all that heavy to carry around, or hang. The weight of the feeder, combined with the liquid nectar, seems to help keep the feeder from swaying back-and-forth, too much, in the wind (like the plastic ones do). A Plus, if ya ask Me. :) * An antique (brushed) silver colored base -- that comes apart - 2 pieces - (for easy cleaning) with 5 realistic (slighty raised) buttery yellow (metal) flower feeding ports add to the overall attractiveness of this particular Hummingbird feeder. There is an ample little metal foot rail (or, whatever they are called) that circles the entire feeder for the Hummers to stand on (and rest) while eating. * There is no ant moat on this Feeder. *Neighbor-envy... The Hummers flock to my new Perky-Pet Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder. *smiles, sips espresso* tip: this is the nectar recipe I've used for years: add 1/4 cup of pure cane sugar to 1 cup boiling water -- stir till clear -- let cool -- add to Hummingbird feeder. Change out once a week... Does the Perky-Pet Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder sound like what you may be looking for? :) Would make a Fantastic Gift! Highly Recommended! --Katharena Eiermann, 2013

Love this hummingbird feeder. It has large capacity and looks nice outside my bedroom window next to the windchimes. The hummingbirds were right on this feeder the first morning I put it out. A classic and worth the money.

I replaced my narrow necked hummingbird feeder with this model and am very pleased. My biggest issue with my old feeder is that it was difficult to clean. I had to try all sorts of tricks to clean inside it where green algae like stuff grew. This feeder is so easy to clean with just a dish sponge or cloth. The wide mouth mason jar is pretty, holds plenty of food and easily accessed. I love it and the hummingbirds seem to be in agreement.

easy to keep clean and lovely to look at. Hummers took to it right away and it's beg enough for several birds to share without the usual aerial battles. A+

There is no plastic in this feeder! YEAH! That is something I have been looking for in a hummingbird feeder for a long time. Not only is there no plastic, the feeder has a wide mouth so the glass container is easily and thoroughly cleanable! Yeah again! Really tired at looking at attractive art-like feeders with ridiculously small openings that make cleaning impossible, unless you want to use toxic bleach (I don't). Thank you perky pet. Only one teensy complaint--Did you really HAVE to put the name of your company on the glass?

Well made, no leakage of nectar like you get in a strong breeze with most hummingbird feeders. I'd buy another one in a minute. In fact, I might. The back yard is looking a little bare without one.

I have been using this Hummingbird feeder for the last few weeks and I love the design and the quality. I have total of four feeders in my backyard in the midst of flowering plants, and they are doing a pretty good job in attracting the Hummingbirds. This pretty feeder is large and holds about 32 oz of nectar; bigger than the other three I have. The metal base and five flower feeding ports give plenty of access to the nectar. This glass container has a wide mouth and working with this is simple and easy. Simply unscrew the bottle from the base and pour the nectar, and it is also very easy to clean. I have rated four stars for its design, quality and overall satisfaction.
I really loved the look of this hummingbird feeder. The one I have now is plastic, so I thought this feeder would be much more durable. This is a gorgeous and unique feeder unlike any I have seen in stores or online. I was really excited to get this feeder, and it looks beautiful hanging on my deck. The only reason I gave this product four stars instead of five is because the bottom feels a bit insecure when you are trying to attach it to the mason jar body, and that makes me wonder if it will hold up for a long time. Overall, though, I think this is a beautiful product, and I love seeing it on my deck!

This is the second hummingbird feeder I've used. The first was bigger and I never filled it up completely because I though the food might spoil. This one is slightly smaller and I feel better about filling it all the way up. The hummingbirds food seems to go quicker in this feeder. It shipped intact and was very easy to assemble and take apart. There are just the two pieces, the top and bottom that easily screw together. I'd recommend this feeder. I like the vintage charm and will probably buy another one for the front yard.

More attractive than most Hummingbird feeders, and perfect for anyone who likes collectibles, antique items, etc. The recipient loved it.
